Judy Piazza is presenting a workshop and concert in Southern California.
WHEN: Sunday, February 3
WORKSHOP: 1-5 pm
CONCERT: 7 pm** (with workshop participants)
WHERE: SACRED SPACE of SANTA BARBARA
COST: $50 workshop & concert by 1/25/08; $60 after 1/25/08. $10 concert only. Potluck supper before evening event.
For the workshop, bring your own tar and tambourine. Drums will also be available for use and sale. Develop skill on these most ancient of drums. Learn the elemental language of the drums, explore rhythms inspired by traditions around the world as well as by our own indigenous selves, focus on ensemble playing, feel the power and joy of drumming with others!
