Marla Leigh is presenting a frame drum workshop in San Francisco in two weekends from now..
She will cover many things, such as:
- Frame Drum playing styles (lap, tar, free hand)
- Hand drum notation
- Composing for hand drums
- Traditional Middle Eastern/Indian/African Rhythms
- Improvising in all meters (based off of North/South Indian rhythmic theories)
- Solkattu exercises
- and much more.
